• Maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service

3. AI-Generated Reflections

The Healing Within™ AI Companion uses artificial intelligence to generate supportive wellness and self-reflection responses based on information you choose to provide during a check-in.

Information submitted for an AI reflection may be securely transmitted to third-party service providers that help generate the response.

AI-generated responses are provided for general wellness and self-reflection purposes only. They are not a substitute for psychotherapy, diagnosis, medical treatment, professional mental health care, or emergency services.

4. Service Providers

We use trusted third-party technology providers to help operate The Healing Within™ AI Companion.

These may include:

• Supabase, for account authentication and secure data storage

• OpenAI, for generating AI-powered wellness reflections

• Website, hosting, security, and other technical service providers necessary to operate the service

These providers may process information only as necessary to provide their services to us and are subject to their own privacy and security obligations.

5. How We Store and Protect Information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure.

No electronic storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

6. Your Private Wellness Data

​

Journal entries, check-ins, saved reflections, wellness plans, affirmation favorites, and journey progress are intended to remain associated with your private account.

Users should avoid entering information they do not wish to store or process through the service.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information with service providers when necessary to operate the app, comply with applicable law, protect users or the service, or respond to lawful legal requests.

8. Data Export

​

The Healing Within™ AI Companion allows you to request and export a copy of certain information associated with your account through the Export My Data feature.

9. Account and Data Deletion

​

You may permanently delete your account directly within the app by going to:

Profile & Settings → Delete Account

Deleting your account permanently removes your account and associated private saved data, subject to any limited retention required by law, security, fraud prevention, or legitimate technical requirements.

Account deletion cannot be undone.

10. Password Security

​

You may request a password-reset email through the app. Password-reset links are time-sensitive and should not be shared with others.

 

11. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, protect the service, and enforce applicable agreements.

When you delete your account, associated personal data is deleted or scheduled for deletion except where limited retention is legally or technically required.

12. Children’s Privacy

​

The Healing Within™ AI Companion is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we learn that personal information from a child under 13 has been collected without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

The Healing Within™ supports wellness and self-reflection. It does not replace psychotherapy, diagnosis, medical care, professional mental health treatment, or emergency services.
